Most parents would like their young adult drivers to be as in-formed as possible for car owner-ship. There is no better way to start than to sign them up for a two hour class on car ownership and maintenance at Adolf Hoepfl Garage on August 2Adolf’s Garage, 2016 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
What is the best way to properly plan and budget for your vehicle? How can you maximize your gas mileage? How does one know if it’s safe to keep driving when a dash board light comes on? What does one do if the car gets stuck in the sand at the beach? What do you do if the engine runs hot?
Adolf Hoepfl wants to allay some of those fears. That’s why they’re holding a Car Clinic, specifically for young people (and their parents).
They will show everyone how to check all their car fluids—including radiator fluid, brake fluid, and transmission flu-id. They will educate about tire wear, tire pressure, even how to change a tire in a way that’s customized to the vehicle your son or daughter is driving.
They will discuss fuel additives, oil change intervals, lubricating fluids, all major vehicle systems and review the proper maintenance schedule for your son or daughter’s vehicle. Also, we’ll give suggestions on what to do in various emergency situations or what to do for certain mechanical failures, and how to extend the life of one of your most important investments.
This class is $20 per person, and space is limited to 15 participants to ensure individual instruction. Call 713 695-5071 to reserve your spot.
